AeroPass Accounts
Miles will be credited only when
supported with receipts and/or tickets issued in the
name of the AeroPass member.
How to Earn Miles ?
Mileage will be earned by
accumulating minimum or real flight miles and bonus
miles, as well as credits earned through car rentals,
hotel stays, credit-card usage, and other. The air
travel mileage credits are based on the flight mileage
established by AeroPass. Such mileage is applied to
segments of scheduled flights at the applicable fare. A
segment is a portion of any flight requiring a separate
coupon. Mileage is earned according to the applied
fares. Eligibility is determined by the basis and
regulations of the various fares. There are certain
types of tickets that do not earn travel miles, such as,
among others: complimentary tickets, prizes offered by
AeroPass or LatinPass, Charters and Tour Operators,
discounted for the travel industry or for any other
motive, infant, or those governed by special regulations.
Mileage Life
Mileage
will not expire as long as a member maintains an active
status. However, any 24-month consecutive period without
travel shall cause accumulated mileage to expire.
Service Bonuses
First class fares earn
100% more miles when traveling on Aeropostal Alas de
Venezuela, and 25% when traveling on other airlines.
Statement of Account
A
statement of account is sent every six months to members
whose accounts show activity for the year.

Mileage Credits for Air Travel
Miles will
be earned when the account holder mentions his AeroPass
account number when making a reservation, or when
purchasing tickets at any of the Aeropostal Client
Service Centers, or at the airport at check-in.
If for any
reason the statement of account fails to include any
mileage earned, the account holder may present his
ticket receipt and corresponding boarding pass at any
AeroPass Service Center. Mileage will not be credited
without the required documentation. Mileage may only
be claimed within six months of the date of
travel.
Mileage Credits for using other Services
To be credited for using
services rendered by non-airline businesses associated
to AeroPass, the member shall present his membership
card and mail a receipt or invoice to the AeroPass
Service Center.
Membership Card
The card will be mailed
to active members with a minimum 5,000 miles in their
account. |
